Lee Seo Jin and Lee Joo Young’s upcoming drama is just beginning to reveal itself!
OCN’s new Saturday-Sunday drama “Times” is a political mystery drama “Time Warp” starring Lee Seo Jin as Lee Jin Woo and Lee Joo Young as Seo Jung In. While Lee Jin Woo is a 2015 living journalist, Seo Jung In is the daughter of South Korean President Seo Gi Tae (Kim Young Chul), who lives in 2020. The story unfolds after the two are connected over the phone.
One month until the premiere, details about the drama will be shared individually. Here are the two reasons the series is called “Times”!
1. Lee Jin Woo’s media channel “Times”
The name of the media company that Lee Jin Woo runs is “Times”. As a journalist, Lee Jin Woo attaches great importance to investigating and bringing forth the truth hidden in the dark. This is also the basis for the existence of the point of sale. But Lee Jin Woo’s ideals have always been challenged by reality. Ignoring threats from people trying to hide the truth and continuing to publish critical articles, led the company into financial trouble when it lost sponsors. In this way, Lee Jin Woo’s upright behavior helps to maintain the essence of “Times”, but also brings the exit to the crisis.
The production team commented, “’Times’ is an important link between 2015’s Lee Jin Woo and 2020’s Seo Jung In. After the jump in time, the characters and their surroundings go through both small and large changes. Please check the first episode for what Lee Jin Woo’s ‘Times’ of 2015 means for Seo Jung In in 2020. “
2. 2015 and 2020, the two connected times
Another reason this series is called “Times” is because both the past and the present exist in a story. The action follows two schedules separated by five years. Seo Jung In, who cannot come to terms with the death of her father, tries to put everything back in order by communicating with Lee Jin Woo. Lee Jin Woo is also working with her to prevent his imminent death. As the two begin to find out the truth as they pursue their own goals, small cracks appear in the timeline. These rifts lead to unexpected changes in unexpected places, adding further chaos to Lee Jin Woo and Seo Jung In.
How the two react to the following monumental events and truths will be an important point to pay attention to. It will also be interesting to see if they keep their virtual collaboration across all the ups and downs of a time leap.
“Times” premieres on February 20th at 10:30 pm. KST.
In the meantime, you can see Lee Seo Jin here in the “Prenuptial Agreement”!
