SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING is the most effective way to reach a large audience on a very small budget.
You can address people according to age, hobbies, sports interests, political ideology, place of work and place of residence.
There has never been such a revolutionary technology in marketing since the advent of the internet and social networks.
It has been more than a decade since Namibia has used the internet and social media along with other countries, but it seems we are far from understanding how and when to use it.
Most companies treat social media as a static platform with limited features, which it doesn’t.
Unlike a building or a car, think of social media as a beautiful sunflower that responds to sunlight, water, and minerals in the ground: the more you water it, the more it grows and the more beautiful it looks.
But you need to know when to water it, how much water to give and where to plant it.
Lots of companies get it wrong.
You create attractive artwork, which is fine, but do you think people spend time on social media looking at artwork?
Social media users tend to skip advertisements and completely ignore them.
The best way to position your business on social media is to provide organic content that doesn’t look like advertising in the eyes of the consumer.
It is imperative that your ads look like normal user content for more traction and engagement.
People like to buy, but they don’t like being sold.
Everyone has been to a furniture store or other store where the salesperson doesn’t give you room to breathe.
And some retailers are trying to force consumers to buy things.
Very annoying, isn’t it?
Straightforward advertising and sponsored art advertising have the same effect to a large extent: content is king, so we need to create content that adds value to the consumer – either through fun activities, engaging images of models and social media influencers, or through educational content , Storytelling and tips.
There are two basic reasons people spend time on social media.
Some women visit social media to see other people’s lives and compare themselves to other beautiful and attractive women.

Some men spend time on social media looking at beautiful women and sending them direct messages in hopes of getting them on dates or making them their friends.
Men are driven by visuals.
Other factors such as boredom and loneliness also contribute to social media usage – especially Instagram and Facebook.
Don’t bore people with your artwork that only seems to impress other graphic designers.
Tell your story.
People like to be inspired.
They trust authentic companies and brands who share a story through videos and pictures of real people.
As much as possible, stay away from using images downloaded from the internet if you don’t want your content to be ignored.
Your content must harmonize with the rest of the content available on that particular platform.
