Another exciting episode is coming up for OCN’s “Times”!
“Times” is a “time warp” drama about two people who live at different times and are linked by a mysterious phone call. Seo Jung In (Lee Joo Young), the daughter of South Korean President Seo Gi Tae (Kim Young Chul), lives in 2020 while Lee Jin Woo (Lee Seo Jin), a passionate and talented reporter, lives in 2015. Seo Jung Lee helps Jin Woo save her father’s life, but the two cause unforeseen consequences.
One of the mysteries of the drama is the untimely death of Lee Geun Woo (Ha Jun), Lee Jin Woo’s younger brother and Seo Gi Tae’s former aide. Lee Geun Woo made enemies when he revealed the existence of JC Communications’ illegal slush fund, involving political figures such as Seo Gi Tae, Kim Young Joo (Mond Jung Hee), Baek Gyu Min (Song Young Chang) and Nam Sung Bum were involved (Yoo Sung Joo). After discovering the evidence his brother had gathered, Lee Jin Woo suspected that Seo Gi Tae was the killer, but Seo Gi Tae insisted on his innocence.
In the new stills, Nam Sung Bum seeks out Lee Jin Woo while grabbing straws to survive. He comes to him with a troubled face and makes a request, but Lee Jin Woo’s answer is ambiguous. The preview of this episode revealed that there may be a new clue as to what Nam Sung Bum has to say. After a threat to his life, Nam Sung Bum said to an unknown person: “You should not forget what I know.” He approaches Lee Jin Woo with the bait that he knows something about the death of Lee Geun Woo.
Meanwhile, the troubled partnership between Seo Jung In and Lee Jin Woo broke down further when their “time-warp” relationship was broken. Seo Jung In was hired to find out the truth about her father’s involvement in JC Communications’ illegal slush fund and whether Lee Jin Woo rightly suspected that her father killed Lee Geun Woo. However, this task was made difficult by the interference of Lee Jin Woo.
Seo Jung In had planned to find the special phone that would allow her to connect with the past so that she could team up with Lee Jin Woo from 2015 again to find out the truth. By the time Lee Jin Woo foresaw this, he had already taken the phone away so that Seo Jung In could not work with his former self again to change the past. Seo Jung In wasn’t one to give up and choose to pursue the truth further so that the present could lead to a better future, even if the past couldn’t be changed.
But the new stills show Lee Jin Woo falling into confusion and despair while Seo Jung In is running away from someone who is chasing her. Lee Jin Woo seems unable to believe the evidence before his eyes while Seo Jung In hides in an alley with an aura of increasing tension.
Production staff said, “When Lee Jin Woo learns the truth about the death of his brother Lee Geun Woo, Seo Jung In is in desperate danger. These events mark a turning point in the plot of the drama, as well as in the relationship between the two characters. There is going to be a really shocking development in this episode that goes beyond anything imaginable. “
