Vodafone has launched a campaign to promote small businesses through social media marketing. The “Shout Out for Small Businesses” campaign invites small businesses to share stories about how they took bold steps during the pandemic to gain a social media marketing boost from Vodafone.

The mobile operator selects 10 companies to receive a special social media marketing campaign on Facebook and Instagram. The campaign is created in collaboration with Vodafone’s digital marketing teams and published on Vodafone’s own social media channels.

Businesses will also benefit from a digital business strategy session with an advisor from V-Hub by Vodafone, the SMB-focused resource hub launched by the telecommunications giant last year.

“We’re always looking for new ways to support small businesses. During this pandemic it became very clear that all businesses, regardless of size, needed an online presence, ”said Anne Sheehan, Business Director at Vodafone UK. “That’s why we’re helping companies develop the skills to get online and using our own online presence and experience to give them a boost.”

To participate, companies must visit Vodafone’s V-Hub and share their story of how they have adapted over the past year.

Entries will be judged by a jury that includes Enterprise Nation Founder and CEO Emma Jones CBE, former Dragons’ Den investor and entrepreneur Piers Linney, and Andrew Stevens, Head of Small Business at Vodafone.
